"I am pleased with this ACTIIV Ultimate Power Trio. I order this to use on my mom’s hair since it is short, fine, and thin. This is a nice set and has really gave her hair so much fullness and volume. The shampoo lathers very well and leaves her hair very soft and shiny after washing. The conditioner is somewhat thick but not overly thick and just adds to the softness and easy to manage. She loves the serum, she puts in in at night and her hair is looking so much healthier. However, I do think this set is on the pricey side compared to other good products much cheaper she has used. But as far as performance and quality, it works great."

"Ive been using this as directed on the bottles for about two weeks. I already have thicker hair overall so I can’t tell that I’ve got any new growth necessarily. However, I can tell that my scalp health has improved already. I tend to have dry skin and it can easily become aggravated and itchy but since using this set that has changed very quickly and gone away. The products all have a very light and pleasant scent, nothing overpowering. The directions state to use every other day and specifically what temperature water to use when rinsing. The products are gluten-free color, safe vegan and cruelty free. I think my favorite part is that the thickening hair serum is water-based and does not make my hair oily at all!"

Doesn’t work for thickening

"I've been using this shampoo, conditioner, and serum set for a few weeks now, and overall, my experience has been pretty average. The shampoo and conditioner do a decent job at cleansing the hair — my scalp feels clean after use, and there's no heavy residue left behind. However, the scent is quite strong. While it's not unbearable, it has a musky, almost ""old-fashioned perfume"" kind of smell that reminds me of something an older woman might wear. It’s not the fresh or clean fragrance I personally prefer in hair products. As for performance, I haven’t noticed any significant difference in the thickness or volume of my hair since I started using these products. I was really hoping for more visible results in terms of hair thickening or overall fullness, especially since that was one of the main selling points. The serum, much like the shampoo and conditioner, has that same strong scent. It doesn't make my hair look greasy or feel heavy, which is a plus, but it also doesn’t seem to do much of anything either — no shine boost, no added softness, and certainly no thickening effect that I can tell. At this point, I plan to continue using the products for a little longer to give them a fair shot, but so far, I’m underwhelmed. For the price point, I expected more noticeable results. "I am really enjoying this hair system. All of the products smell lovely and are easy to use. I don't mind to massage the shampoo in for the 5 mins as directed, because it has a pleasant lather and fragrance. The instructions call for the daily use of the serum, and I have been doing this and then using a blow dryer to style as usual. I'm perimenopausal and have dealt with thinning hair for years. I have taken before pictures and look forward to taking some pictures after I've hd the opportunity for this to work. It does mention that this can take upwards of 3 months to be effective.
